Story

It has been announced that all guardsmen on active duty and all civilian personnel in Militia employ shall declare their legal residency for tax purposes.

Overview

Guardsmen and citizens have been informed that they must make Militia Command aware of their legal residency. Whether they own and reside within a house, rent from a registered landlord or reside within the Militia Dormitories they must post details of their residency here.

Any personnel failing to register their current residency shall be charged the upper rate of housing tax by default.

Rules


Each registration must detail all current residents of your particular dwelling.
If you rent then merely include in your registration yourself and anybody who resides within the portion of the property for which you pay rent.
If sleeping within the dormitory then simply include yourself.
The location of your dwelling must be accurately detailed either via picture or coordinates.
You may only post evidence of your own residency.

I live in the Besieger tower, but because space is limited I rent storage from a local fella. He tells me that two ladies from the Militia also rent storage space in his house, Mrs Sands, who lives in the Marksmen's tower and Miss Reachfar, who as far as I can gather lives in a tree.

After my injury my sister is letting me have a small room to myself within the castle she is managing. Landlord is some upper-something fancy lady in Brit, never there.

Residents: My sister Chaismene, some old cook Quinn (don`t eat his food), and loads of others to and from. My sister likes to help people, and the current residents include an old man with an injured leg, a young married couple with a kid - and some other never-before-seen inhabitants. My sister has kindly asked me to not enter the main hall in uniform, as it scares the kid. I abide, for now.

Oh - and there is a ghost roaming the upper halls as well. You get used to the wailing. My sister didn`t want to tell me everything as she said I would be upset, but it has something to do with some old story, and an item in a white box in the chapel on the upper floor.

Location: Borough of Yew, straight north from Arduin`s field.

Since I started the career of a Guardsmen Militia Of Yew I created this small tower really close to the crafter's building. It will always be my residency and my son Ryan Grindhouse is always updating the building so it's a nice place to be.

People staying at this residency with me:
- Robyn Claymore
- Llane Cavelryn
- Micheal Llennoc
- Ryan Grindhouse

I let these people stay there for free because these are the people I feel most comfortable with in the Militia and have gotten along with the best who have been at the same rank as me. I've made it a building dedicated to the ranks that I've been in for example. The first floor has chests of trainee armour, stocks of bandages, food, shields and weapons. I also have a crate for our residency that if anyone wants repairs they can put them into a crate above the forge and Troy Grindhouse's Son crafter can repair it all. The second floor is dedicated to footmen, so far i've just stacked it full of choices with Footman armour. At the moment the people living here are just Footman and trainee so there's no need for much else at the moment.

The fact I have armour of my own stored in the house does not get abused I make sure that the people living here have the correct physical resists in their armour when issuing a set of armour for either Trainee or Footman rank.

UPDATE:
For services rendered to the Abbey and the Refugees during the past infection crisis, the Monks have authorised me to keep the room at the Inn permanently, free of charge.
I suppose this means, I now have a home there.
