# -Lead a patrol to slay a Balron, and succubus and a blood elemental, one of which must be golden. (At least 5 people must attend)


Tonight i lead a patrol to the Blood dungeon to complete this task. Bladius had the men line up and after a short game he gave me the line. I told them the plan of action and formed suitable units. Then i had the men force march to the moongate and through to Spirituality. Once everyone was there, we set off east along the mountain wall to the dungeon. The walk itself was fairly boring, With Kros going on about someone finding him a wife. Why cant he just marry a horse or something.. thats different.. no worries about it cheating.. running off.. Nagging.. (Excuse the pun). Anyways! Soon we arrived at the cave mouth- we entered.

Once inside, The seigers lit there lanterns and some others drank black potions. At this point i had a quick glance at my peice of paper with my tasks written on it. I decided to take the Blood elemental first, as i thought it was the easiest of the three. We span around the corner and marched to where they dwell and were confronted by one imediatly. I gave the order to SPEAR IT and before i could put an arrow into my bow.. five or six guards charged past me and jumped at it! Within seconds it was down! So with that we began to kill afew more for good measure. We killed 4 or 5.. including a Golden one! With this done we marched to the balron pit!

We ran into afew imps on route but they were nothing to be worried about.. Henry n Kros just trudd on them. After the short walk we arrived at the balrons den. There was one in the corner eating, So catching it off guard i issued a charge and the men set to hack away at it! With our tactics, knowledge and numbers it was floored a little over the time it took us to slay a blood elemental. After we looted it, Massive roars were heard coming from the adjacent room. Our eyes were drawn to it as it shone a golden colour, and out of the mist came a huge golden Balron.. Catching us slightly off guard. But us being on a role and us being guardsmen! we set to work on it, and Lord it was hard! It was Chaos.. literally, Men were being thrown across the room, they were charging, hacking, kicking, bleeding - EVERTHING! Its spells were menacing and its eyes were fuelled with fire but! we pressed on. Men were being knocked left right and centre, but once helped up.. they dived straigh back in like the true spartans they are! After a fair time, the beast was ready to fall.. and with afew shots to its legs, paralyzing it the Seigers and others smashed its chest and head in dropping it to the floor. Once it did so i cried out "In the name of the virtues!!!!" and was greated by an almighty "HAIL THE MILITA" that echoed around the dungeon. It was so loud infact that it awoke another golden Balron.. but this time we were far too tired to take another so we decided to leg it! Moving around to where succabus lives.

Fighting ourway through the odd Daemon and hellcat we reached the succabus island. We formed up and took it down with ease. Althought im sure at some point Kros asked for her claw in marriage. Whatever floats ya boat eh? Personally the sight of a winged, woman with claws and teeth like daggers dosnt really do it for me but Kros.. go for it sir if thats what yer into! Evidently i think she declined.. well someting went wrong anyways because we smashed her head in. Once it was looted a golden one came at us.. we played with it for abit but then decided it was too fast at healing so we made a run for it. Once we got to the entrance we made a run for the moongate, and back to Stonekeep where i dimissed the men and thanked them for there participation.

Just over 5000 gold was collected and placed into the milita funds.

# -Lead a morale boosting activity - At least 5 guardsmen must attend.

Tonight, I booked the night off for the majority of the Milita. With our recent workload being hard and long, i thought it'd be good for the mens morale to go and visit afew Taverns and Bars and have afew drinks.
They all gathered at 8pm in their civilian clothes. Firstly we had afew drinks in the Dings Deer. I opened up a tab and baught the first round. I was lucky enough my father had sent me afew thousand crowns from Britain. - Its always good to know i have gold in the family i suppose.
There was some good Chit chat, Though one trainee.. Maximus did go abit over the stop with his drinks and decided to to try and eat a candle. I suppose theirs always one isnt there? as the saying goes.

After that we set off to Skara Brae. I, myself had not been to the tavern in Skara before, so i had to follow a trainee who knew the way. When we got there It was all but dead. I think the only people there were us, and the odd Bard. Still we didnt let it dampen our night. We ordered drinks and began to talk about Plays and Dancing for some reason. With Gumpy getting up and strutting his stuff. It was good.

Once bored of Skara we set off once again. This time to Trinsic! I'll admit i feel abit bad for what i did whilst there. I through a bottle at a Civilian who was in the stocks. I know i shouldnt have done it - ill have to blame it on the wine i think. Anyways! its in the past now so ill carry on. When we got to the Tavern there was some mad drunken Pirate like man in there. Talknig jibberish all the time we were there. So its fair to say we didnt stay there long, with him doing pretty much everyones head in with his constant yabbering.

After that we decided to go to the Trinsic Rose. There we had afew good talks and me and Tommy had afew rounds of Darts. All night the drinks were flowing and the natter was good. I think it was a good morale boosting activity.. Bit of a shame there arnt more like it...
