Militia Regulations.

The Regulations book is your outline and guide to that which is expected of enlisted personnel within the Militia. Familiarise yourself with it and what is expected and you should find yourself free from punishment.

The Oath


I _______, Hereby swear my loyalty and allegiances to the Crown and the Guardsmen Militia, I swear to serve the people of Yew for as long as deemed necessary by the State, I shall uphold the Queen's Laws and Virtues. This is my solemn oath.

The oath is to be witnessed by your fellow guardsmen.


Equipment Listing.


Bedroll, Light source, Cooking utensil, Wood working tool, Smithing Tool, Sewing Kit, Hatchet, Fletching kit, Fifty arrows or bolts, A bow or Crossbow, Bandages, Food, Parade Arm, Knife or Dagger, A copy of the Kings Law, A Copy of the Guardsmen's Tome, A copy of the Militia Regulations.

Your Duty.


As a Guardsman your duty is to,
Protect Yew and her Citizens
Uphold the King's Law
Defend the Realm when required.
Aid & Assist any Citizen in need.


Militia Regulations.

Paragraph 1.
Abandoning your post, Any guardsman found to abandon their post will be punished by, Up to ten lashes, demotion, a fine of up to fifty copper, or for repeat offense, Dishonorable discharge from the Militia.

Paragraph 2.
Assaulting a Guardsman, Any guardsman assaulting a fellow guardsman will be punished by, up to five lashes, or a fine of up to one hundred copper.

Paragraph 2a.
Assaulting an Officer, Any guardsman assaulting an officer will be punished by, up to ten lashes, imprisonment, or a fine of up to three hundred copper, or Demotion.

Paragraph 3.
Brawling, Any guardsman caught brawling will be punished by a week's state service, a fine to repair any damages if in a public property, Imprisonment, or ultimately demotion for repeat offenses.

Paragraph 4.
Disobeying Orders, Any guardsman disobeying orders will be punished by the following depending on circumstances, up to ten lashes, A copper fine of up to two hundred and fifty, A period in prison, demotion or ultimately dishonorable discharge from the Militia.

Paragraph 5.
Drunken on Duty, Any guardsman found to be drunk on duty will be punished by the following depending on their condition, Imprisonment until sober, a fine of up to one hundred copper or a short period of dunking until sober.

Paragraph 6.
Espionage, Any guardsman suspected of gathering information for sources outside the Militia will be tried for Treason under Militia Regulations, Paragraph 8.

Paragraph 7.
Racketeering, Any guardsman caught racketeering will be punished by imprisonment, dishonorable discharge from the Militia upon release and all assets will be seized by the state.

Paragraph 8.
Treason, Any guardsman suspected of Treason will be detained in the cells during investigation and once complete will be tried before a Military council of Officers, Punishment will be set by the Council.
