History

Aiden was one of two brothers, twins infact. There mother? a barmaid from a Tavern in Britain, with many male friends. She was a whore. It was the only wy she could make a living. On giving birth to the twins, Aiden and Michael, She soon found that she couldnt cope with them nor afford them. She left them on a the cross roads in there moses baskets one day, never to be seen again.

Afew hours past and the babies became cold and hungry. They began to cry. An old woman heard there yawps and investigated them. She took the two babies and adopted them as her own. As they grew older, she tought them to read and write and howto pickpocket. This is how they made there living from the age of 6 or 7. Making a good amount of gold from this they lived quite a pleasent life. After all, it wasnt hard work.

When the boys reached the age of 16, afew months later the old woman died of natural causes. The boys were on there own, But atleast they knew howto survive. The thing is, pickpocketing wasnt doing it for them. They wernt getting the buzz they used to get from it. One night Aiden and Micheal were in a tavern discussing there future. When Aiden came up with a plan. They were to become Highwaymen. Micheal was to be the dogsboddy and Aiden was to be the Gentleman Highwayman. They discussed it and went along with it. Aiden became well established with some rather rich people, even bedding the earl of Maginica's wife! They made alot of money from this but there was a rather large ransom on his head, 50,000 gold crowns to be correct.

One day Aiden and Michael were on the road leading towards Trinsic when they were caught in crossfire from arrows on both sides. They made a dash for the woods. Whilst doing so Micheal took an arrow in the back. Falling to the ground, Aiden tried to drag him to saftey. He couldnt do it. Micheal told Aiden to run. Aiden was adament to stay but he knew he would be hung if he did so. Cowardly he made a run for it and hid behind some rocks on the mountain wall. He could see the tourches from the Guardsmen heading to where Micheal lay. He began to run, thinking about his brother all the time.

Afew days later Aiden was in a tavern behind the Abby in Yew. He picked up the paper and read the Gentleman Highwayman had been caught and Hung. This mean Michael had taken the blame for Aiden and that he was off the hook. He broke into tears there and then, throwing the paper across the bar. A Dark shadowie man tried to calm him down. His name? Ordo Malleus. He spoke to him about his gang and what they did. Aiden was more than egar to join, He wanted to revenge his brothers death.

After Years of being in the Highwaymen =H= Aiden went to his Mothers Funeral, having not seen her from the day she left him on the road side as a baby. He showed no emotion. He was the only person there. They lowered the coffin and he walked off without saying a prayer. He began to wonder. Why was he the one that was left? Why wasnt it him what got shot that day? why was it not him in the coffin? there must have been a reason for this. On returning to Abbywood he packed his things and left. Leaving his house, its contents and his long term girlfriend, Bailey the barmaid behind. He travelled the world seeking the Shrines and helping others. He was gone for 3 years.

On returning to Abbywood 3 years on. He found it empty and deserted. the buildings were falling down and posters of the Guardsmen were all over the place. He also found a small piece of paper on the floor. It was a ripped and soggy page from the Book of Light. He read it and has kept it on his person ever since. He joined the Guardsmen Milita to proove himself wrong. That he was still alive for a reason, and the reason was that of the Higher Being. He has felt at home in the Milita ever since. Following the Avatari egarly and reading the Book of Light numerous times.

He seeks to become a reknown Guard, and will do anything he can to become one.

Aidens career in the Guardsmen has been nothing more than a success in his eyes. He's never been in trouble, kept his head down and never disobeyed an order. Having been made Lance Corporal Twice hes obviously got the bare skills in him needed to become a leader of some-sort. Not that hes always wanted to "lead" that is. His age is now becoming a hinderence to him. Hes not as fast as he used to be.. nor can he keep up during training as well as he used too. His skills in fighting have started to fade. Although he can often be seen showing junior ranks howto Fight, Attack and Defend. He's happy with life at the moment but knows that there isnt much time left in the ranks for him.

Finally been promoted to Veteran, Aiden feels he's actually achieved something. Having previously thought he'd retire after afew months of being Veteran, His mood has changed and is seriously thinking about the rank of Corporal.


On the 8th November 2009, Aiden retired from active duty.
