Background
Amanda May was born and raised in Britain. Her father, Brian May, was a well know writer of romantic novels. Brian May did not make a fortune with his books but he was very popular among the ladies and was able to maintain a certain level of luxury in his life - which of course helped Amanda as well. She didn't need to work or care how much her clothes cost. Her father arranged everything for her.
Unfortunately it is very difficult to predict what ladies like and Brian's latest novels haven't been successfull. Instead he seems to have lost his position as the most wanted artist in town and found himself unable to pay the bills. He had to choose between his luxurious mansion and Amanda (who simpy ate too much) and in the end, it was an easy choice to make. Amanda was old enough to try living on her own.
Amanda wandered around, tried to work as a maid and a cook but with no luck. For some reason she always lost her job after a week or two. When walking around the forests of Yew, she saw men and women standing in uniforms in a place called Stonekeep. "I can do that." She thought to herself and gave the Militia a try.
Amanda is a bit spoiled, but she will never admit it. She is the kind of girl who is always looking for that easier way out. Generally Amanda is very positive person and it is almost impossible to make her angry. Only way to do that, would propably be to cut her hair short. It's her only luxury in this harsh militia life.
"Sir? I think my armour is too heavy. Could I get a lighter one?"
"Do you actually expect me to sleep in the woods?"
