Reports from worried citizens suggest wytch activity is taking place in Yew.
Not long ago a group of townfolk drove away an old gypsie woman who was currently making residence in Yew. Described as wild eyed, heavily wrinkled and smelling strongly of smoke and other more foul substances, dressed in large fitting colourful clothes. She was offering service to read your palms and speak of the future, un-nerved by her strange apperance and odd activity they drove her from town, suspecting her to be involved in Wytchery.
Not long after her departure, a Citizan named Melvin O'Neil who resides on the west sheep farm came to me in rather a shocked state. He had woken that morning to find a symbol daubed onto his door, in what appeared to be blood. Going to check on his sheep O'Neil found almost his entire flock had died. Although no visable wounds were present on the sheep. I acompanied him to the sheep farm and inspected the symbols myself, although i could read no indication of their meaning.
Another Citizen then approached us speaking of all her milk going sour and green for no good reason. Both of them were convinced it was the work of the gypsie.
I took them both back to Stone Keep and conducted an interview to extract as much information about the suspected wytch as possible. Rather expectedly neither of the townfolk knew much else about the woman, they just repeated a description of her and stated she was somwhat of a loner, keeping herself to her own twisted ways.
Reporting my findings to Captain Dart, i arranged for a member of the clergy to travel to O'Neils house and study the symbol on the door, also making sure it was safe for the man to reside inside still.
A patrol was taken to the farm to search and secure the surrounding area but nothing more was found.
Ive compiled this report so that the Militia are aware of this potential threat.
All should be aware of the womans description and she should be arrested on sight for questioning.
