Background
Born and raised in Trinsic by her drunken father, the proprietor and keeper of the Traveller’s Inn. Tanya found herself working long hours from an early age and soon took over after her father’s passing.
As drow ran riot through the city streets, Tanya was victimised due to her status as an easy target, often kidnapped and beaten, she grew to despise them and joined the Duchy Guard in order to learn to defend herself and protect those similarly mistreated.
Tanya married young to the Duke’s aide a man who cared more for his career than his young bride. Her marriage was short-lived, ending in the controversial death of her husband – a death for which she was held responsible but later pardoned.
Now widowed and unable to support herself, Tanya reluctantly gave up her daughter, only to flee Trinsic in favour of Vesper for a number of years.
After eventually clearing her name, Tanya returned to her home of Trinsic, focusing upon her career and climbed to the rank of Sergeant in the Duchy Guard.
After some time Tanya began distancing herself from Trinsic and the people in it, too many of them knew her past and believed the vicious rumours spread about her. During a visit to The King’s Deer, Tanya met Bladius Dart and soon fell for his charms. With Trinsic falling into disarray, Tanya spent more and more time in Yew and soon fell deeply in love with the untamable Captain and eventually gave up life in Trinsic for a simpler existence in Yew.
Now, years after her move Tanya finally has her life in place. With the untamable Captain finally tamed, Tanya has her daughter back, a child with the man of her dreams and has taken on his five children from previous relationships.
Appearance
Whilst she looks healthier than she has done in a long while, to the immediate eye Tanya still seems somewhat feeble, even brittle. Long light brown hair flows down her spine, ending neatly below her shoulder blades. Spirited brown eyes draw attention away from an otherwise pale complexion and instead to a cautious, yet approachable and attractive smile.
Personality
Placid and approachable, Tanya seems sincere and accommodating but whilst slow to anger, she tolerates no nonsense personally or professionally.
