The Order

Experience counts for a great deal within the realms of soldiery and warfare, sometimes youthful tenacity can only take you so far.
Made up of guardsmen who have demonstrated that they possess the instincts needed to survive and the know-how to win but also the experience of soldiers who have seen everything, The Order is called upon to handle matters of a delicate nature.
With a great wealth of experience in seamanship, The Order are given command of a small fleet of Militia vessels to ensure the security of the Yewish coastline whilst often being called upon to secure heavily fortified beach-heads in the Militia's offensive operations. However, whilst on dry land The Order can be found handling matters of sensitivity, whether tasked with the escort of a foreign dignitary or holding a prisoner under heavy guard, everything The Order does is handled with the utmost professionalism and consideration for the success of the mission.
In battle, The Order call upon their various experiences to provide an all-round offensive quality similar to that of the Corsairs or their fellow Iron Arms.

Members of The Order

Members of The Order hold a rank equivalent to Veteran in the Chain of Command, however the first three members shall hold the rank of First.

Members of The Order are granted use of Dull Copper hued Order Shields to symbolise their positions and membership.
The Order is not a division but instead a group of experienced guardsmen trusted with delicate matters outside the duties of the Besiegers, Waywatchers and Marksmen.
The Order for the most part operates without a single leader. Members of The Order respect one another enough to understand that they are working towards the accomplishment of goals and as such choosing a leader for specific missions should be based upon ability in a certain field. Command often leaves it up to The Order's discretion to choose a suitable leader for the task at hand.

Joining The Order

Guardsmen must be of Veteran rank to qualify for Order selection.
Guardsmen must have been Iron Arms for at least the past two months to qualify for Order selection.
Guardsmen may not apply to become a member of The Order but they must instead be nominated by at three quarters of The Order, however even then this does not finalise their application as the nomination must pass through Command also.
It is possible for Iron Arm Officers to be nominated and accepted as honorary members of The Order.
A series of trials may be necessary for completion to ensure that guardsmen are worthy of being accepted into The Order, however these trials will remain secret.
Players may not have more than one character within The Order.
