Family: His Mother, a tailor by the name of Mary Wilkes, his father a farmer by the name of Henry Wilkes. A younger sister called Charlotte with whom Radek is very close to, but rarely mentions her while at work.

Appearence: Radek is a reasonably tall man, with a quiet stocky build, his hands have a few scars on them from working with the carpenter, his face is generally shaven apart from the little bit on his chin.

Personality: Radek began his career as someone who wanted to do well, and wanted to please his superiors, however after a while as footman, he realised no matter what you do to please them, some of them will always disrespect you, and treat you like dirt, from here on in, Radek lost his motivation to be disciplined and so became a more common rookie, who is not ill-disciplined, however, he could not be called disciplined either.

Radek spent his early years in and around Yew, as a child he would peek around the buildings near Stonekeep and watch the guardsmen, he longed to be one. As he grew up, he partly forgot about the guardsman and began doing odd jobs around Yew, from helping farmers and carpenters to running errands for the scribes in the abbey. After a few years of doing such things, he wanted to settle down, so shaking his fathers hand, and kissing his mother on the cheek, he packed his things and headed for stonekeep. Once arriving in stonekeep, he took the test, and passed. He was then asked what weapon he would like...as the Besieger who tested him used maces, and as Radek himself wished to become one, he asked for maces.

-Things change.

After a time at rookie flitting between decisions, Radek became a marksman and then stepped down as one after a few weeks, because the culture really didn't fit in with how Radek was. He then flitted further between divisions, thinking about the besiegers and marksmen again, instead he stayed an ironarm and decided to head for Accepted.
After a long while he finally got accepted guard, he continued his hard work and was eventually approached about maybe holding a position in Command, on the 22nd April '08 Radek was promoted to sergeant.
