The evening began with Lieutenant Walker informing us of our mission. As a result of the hot weather and poisoning of the water, we desperately needed to obtain some water in order to prevent Stonekeep from dying of dehydration. We were obtain this fresh, pure water from the freshest source: Ice Island.

Setting sail from Yew, we quickly encountered a problem: the entire lack of a map on board made plotting a course troublesome. Fortunately, we soon collided with J'helom, where Declan O'Connor and Adair Hawkwood located a map and sextant.

Alas, our seaborne troubles were not over; the sail chose a delightful time to break. Fortunately, we had wisely bought a craftsman along, who patched up the sail in a slightly haphazard but ultimately functional way.

Despite our travails we arrived at the Island in one piece. A short visit to the Shrine of Honesty led to a prayer by Second Lieutenant Darling, to bless us before reaching into Deceit itself.

Beset by the undead, the worst possible happened: all our torches and lanterns were extinguished! Unable to see, we ventured through the dungeon, dispatching skeletons, zombies, and mummies.

Emerging from the dark depths, we returned to our primary concern: locating water. An source of liquid water was rejected due to insufficient carrying capacity. Fortunately, another solution presented itself, and the expedition set about carving large chunks of ice to carry back to Stonekeep.

On our return to Stonekeep, the ice was melted down to provide precious, cool, clear water for our town. Our mission finished, Lieutenant Walker thanked and dismissed us, with ten coppers each for our efforts.
