My first few weeks in Yew and inland.
10th day.

As far as I can remember there's been dukes and viscounts, earls and barons ruling my home island, but I've never had the chance to talk with one. Today I witnessed the presence of one with noble blood, veteran guard Connor Arduin. I was absorbed by his stories about guardsmen history as well as the nearby areas of Yew. I managed to write a list on the way from Yew to Britain to memorize them.

Nokhmar

A settlement of nefarious villains, orcs and undead alike. Now only ruins remain of the once dreaded village, but a rumour goes that the meadow is still cursed and it's adviced to keep away from the area on the whole.

Arduin field

A large property, north from the stonekeep, belonged to the duke Llemandrell Arduin. Once a magnificent tower, now a field used as militia training grounds.

Cities of virtues

Connor Arduin also briefed me about the home cities of the eight virtues. The grand library of Britain was close by so I decided to read about the others as well.

Britain, compassion
Moonglow, honesty
Trinsic, honour
Magincia, humility
Yew, justice
Minoc, sacrifice
Skara Brae, spirituality
Jhelom, valour

I woke up in the library with my face glued to a page about rulers of Yew. It was pitch black outside, I must have slept for a good while.

I am very happy to hear that you learnt a thing or two, although it must have felt like an old man blabbering on about nothing at all at time. I see you did your own research too on the virtues!

Good patrol yesterday, lad!
