Captain,

Unfortunately the contents of this report bring more bad news. The crop blight is spreading rapidly and although the entire of Yew is not yet affected, it doesn’t appear that will remain the case for much longer.
Propaganda is everywhere concerning Yew’s leadership, in which both the D’Gar’s and the Church are criticised.
Local bakers can no longer afford the rent on their homes and many have taken to living in the streets. With homelessness and job loss increasing I’m not sure how much longer Yew can survive this crisis.
I’ve gone into greater depth of each problem below.

I travelled around the farms today to try and determine just how far the crop blight has spread and I regret to inform you that it doesn’t look good.

Every farmer I have spoken to has reported at least some of their crops spoiled. The disease is spreading rapidly and even some of the wildlife seems affected. Many are talking of having to sell their land, but in this state, who would buy it? Even if the one family is alright, the entire Yewish economy is failing rapidly.
No-longer can people ignore the flour crisis as they have no vegetables or other crops to eat either.

I’ve drawn a sketch of what some of the crops are looking like:

There is talk of a rebellion, the citizens are not pleased with being forgotten and it now seems one disaster after another is ravaging Yew. I found countless pieces of propaganda throughout the city, even plastered throughout Stonekeep.
The people aren’t happy with a Drow leader in Lord D’Gar’s stead and are criticising the Church for allowing it to happen. Some of the propaganda even reads that the blight, fires and murders are punishment for these sins.

Those not prepared to fight for a better Yew are packing up and moving towns, something needs to change soon or else I fear damage will be irreparable.
