Social Class System
The Social Class System is intended as a means through which you can attain social status for your character and in the process open up opportunities that might not necessarily have been previously available.
As part of the Social Class System you can rise up from the grubby streets of Yew to the palatial estates of the governors of various Yewish territories. You can own businesses, employ personal guards or servants and perhaps even influence the destiny of Yew from your seat upon the Protectorate Council.
The Social Class System is limited only by your imagination in terms of what your character can or cannot do.
Information on the structure of the system is available here. (http://www.grd-europa.co.uk/socialclass.html)
Now not only can you use your copper to buy weapons and armour (http://www.grd-europa.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=19) but social status and licenses (http://www.grd-europa.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=2351). Your Silver will be vital to your ascent up the ladder and you should guard it well.
How do you advance?
It's very simple: earn Silver, complete social class tasks and make a post in the social class task forum following this template (http://www.grd-europa.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=15769).
Notes:
Trainees and Footmen are automatically a part of the Underclass, whilst Rookies and above can consider themselves part of the Working Class.
When you attain social class you may choose certain members of your character's family to ascend alongside your character, these characters can ascend for a lower price of 500 Silver each.
If you have any further suggestions for advantages or bonuses that could be granted as you advance up the social ladder, please feel free to suggest them. Any ideas are welcome.
Any questions regarding The Social Class System may be forwarded to any Command member and they will do their best to answer them.
