You are to find whatever means you can to find and enlist more recruits to the Yewish militia or citizenry
A small report must be provided for our files.

Enlisting new recruits has been "my job" since I entered that competition some time last summer, and it stuck to me. Now, I don't usually log the hours I try to bring home new meatshields, but now I'm in need of copper.

Hello!

The Guardsmen Militia is one of the oldest roleplaying guilds in UO, and by joining us you will become a part of the guild’s history! Formed back in ‘99 when neon hair and sunglasses hadn’t been invented, the Guardsmen Militia saw its first days in the forests of Yew. We’re still holding on to the old values, but we’re also adapting to the new features.

The Guardsmen Militia is basically two guilds in one: guards and citizens. The citizens are the inhabitants of Yew, roaming the land doing their everyday thing. Whereas a guardsman must follow orders from his or her superior, a citizen is free to do what he or she wishes. The citizens are for those who wish to mainly roleplay, bringing humour and joy to everyone. Of course, your citizen does not necessarily have to be that of a kind nature, however be prepared to run into trouble with the law if your character is malicious.

Almost everyone in Grd and the roleplaying community as a whole uses ICQ. If you don’t have it, visit http://www.icq.com in order to download and install it. You will find all our numbers on the forum.
We simply cannot disregard all of the new skills and items that are being poured into the game, thus forming the LoW and some restrictions for the guards. The citizens may use whatever skill they please, as long as their character discription fits having it.

The following skills are prohibited for guardsmen only:
• Magery
• Necromancy
• Spirit Speak
• Ninjitsu (may only be used by waywatchers)
• Bushido
• Chivalry
• Poisoning (may only be used by waywatchers)

We practice a LoW (Laws of war) in our roleplaying community. The list is long, but here's the short version:
• All magical items are prohibited.
• Powergaming is discouraged.
• You must give your opponent a chance to roleplay before attacking him/her.
• No 1337-speak (lol, stfu etc..)
• If you are killed in battle, you must stay away from the scene for 30 minutes. During this period you must wear the grey deathrobe to mark that you are out.

She was looking for work. I then started talking about The Guardsmen Militia and she was interested in signing up as a cook. We went to Stonekeep, Which we went just at the right time, Sir Sutherns was there, He then recruited miss Jil Sundercorrie.
