I had heard that a farmer in Yew Proper was having some problems with his crops, and could use the help of a fearless guardsman with time to kill. I am just that guardsman! So I packed up my gear, and took a short walk up to the farm in question to figure out what the problem was...

Now apparently the farmer hadn't been paying much attention to his crops, and gotten a bit of an infestation... And with harvest coming up, he feared for a long winter with no food. How could I not agree to help him?

After having seen the creepy crawly mess that was Farmer Scott's cabbage however I felt a bit disheartened, realizing I know nothing of farming... Fortunately I quickly came to think of some who would know what to do.

I am not adverse to the idea of using poison to solve my problems, but somehow the idea of putting the poison on my own food seemed... wrong. The monks however insisted that if diluted properly the poison would kill the bugs, but be harmless to anyone eating the cabbage afterward. A sound theory at least, I suppose...

Work all done. Farmer Scott seemed happy. Me however, I'll stay away from Yewish cabbage for a while...
