In response to a huge number of applications for the possible positions of Marksman Corporal and Marksman First it was decided after long discussions that we would take an unorthodox route to solving the dilemma of Marksman leadership.
So as part of an experiment into building a an effective combined leadership for the Marksmen division we have seen fit to award the position of 'First' to not one but two individuals, Kevin Longshot and Cordelia Wilkes.
Let it be made clear that both Firsts are to perform as a team and are not in competition with one another. It should also be noted that said positions are temporary and will be reviewed.
There may very well be an opportunity for other candidates for the position to be involved and it should be understood that just because you might not have been given the position this time around that this does not necessarily mean you won't be presented with opportunities to shine at a later date.
If you have any questions or concerns as to why you were not selected this time, then feel free to forward them to myself.
