Logs.. I've always detested them, as I've always detested reports. Perhaps it's just the fact that I don't really care for writing or reading. I mean truthfully, who cares? It's just a bunch of words on a paper, it contributes to nothing.

Eitherway, I've decided that I need to leave something behind after I die. Afterall, I doubt I'd be glorified enought for people to remember me for more than a week after my passing. Heh, like I care. But afterall, if I should pass away under suspicious circumstances, this might come in handy. Oh, and a note to the reader.. if I'd pass away mysteriously, trust nobody.. not even the officers! .. especially not the officers.

Day 9 - November.

Stonekeep - A place so full of life and action in my youth, currently close to deserted. I guess we should have taken alittle better care of our neighbours. The Yellers were driven away. The Celts.. who cares? .. The Undead and the Orcs, killed off. Everyone, every last one of them. My dear reader, I blame the church for the recent inactivity around Stonekeep. I know, I know.. I usually blame them for everything, but this time it's actually their fault. If they wouldn't be so quick to judge people, and smite down anyone who didn't agree with them, there would still be people around for me to.. well.. smite down. Anyway, I'm rambling. Here's what I did today:

The day started off with me and this Radek character stood in Stonekeep. After our little dispute yesterday with me thinking he was a Trainee, nothing other than silence was expected. But after a while I guess we started talking, and before I knew it, we were duelling. And it turns out he wasn't half bad, and he did actually grow on me, that man. It turns out he's not a bad fellow afterall.

Later that afternoon, I also stumbled upon a Trainee. I never actually caught his name, but I recall him addressing himself as 'Vurd' on some occassion, don't take my word for it however. Not a bad bloke, truthfully. Hm, look at me complimenting people, luckily nobody is reading this untill I die. Anyway, the Trainee seemed restless, ran back and forth and in and out of the offices and I don't honestly know what the hell he was doing. I lined him up, told him of our very important mission to go to Orc fort, I mean if it's true that the orcs will attack, we should make sure we try and kill off a few of them while their still gathering - to get a little headstart, so to speak.

Said and done - we went into the Orc cave, killed a few off and even took down two large ones. It's been a while since last, it made me all nostalgic truth be told.

And that's what I've been up to, so far today.

Day 12 - November

The day started not unlike any other with a deserted Stonekeep. I began my morning shift with a sentrywatch, as I like to call it. In other words - standing around. It was awfully quiet, and frankly I expected nothing else. I watched a tumbleweed roll by metaphorically and figured it was my que to return to bed, and sleep throught the day. Said and done, I didn't make an apperance in the keep untill later that night. Obviously what happened between is beyond my knowledge.

However - upon my second arrival I found out that Aiden was running his last patrol before retirement. I was alittle late and was forced to run after them to catch up. Between you and me, I actually got tired.. perhaps age is finally catching up with me. Truthfully I've thought about retirement aswell, but having nobody to retire with, it feels rather pointless. And frankly, I think I'd be too restless without the army. No, I think I'll have to embrace the fact that I'll die alone. Heh, truthfully I don't really mind either. Eitherway, I'm getting carried off topic here! I caught up with the patroll in Valor, it turned out dragons were on the menu, or Greater dragons to be specific. The templars were there aswell, pfft. I don't care for them, personally. Much too proud and snobby, and generally they just think too highly off themselves. I recall fighting them, once upon a time, when we were at war with Trinsic. I could be mistaken however, afterall there's been so many years and so many wars they're all kind of emerging into eachother. However, after a couple of dragons were slain we returned to Stonekeep and Aiden announced that tonights tab was on him. Wonderfull, I figured and ordered something way too expensive for my own pouch.

I guess in a way it's always sad to see an old colleague go. And it always makes me think that I've been here for too long, myself. However, I don't reckon it's my time yet, I mean Daven was afterall a Veteran even when I joined. Hm, or perhaps he was accepted, again the memories are blurry. What I can recall however is that he was appointed Sergeant with Klion and Blad just a week into my Trainee career. Good times, good times.. I can't help to feel nostalgic.

Anyway, that was today.

Day 17 - March

Been a while since I did any writing here. Truthfully, it's been a while since I was actively on duty, apart from this week. But I'm back full time again, and what can I say? I've kept busy. I've been to New Haven on a daily basis with the sole purpose of recruiting and placing banners, with success! I've found two fresh recruits there, and one that I can't take full credit for, he already wanted to join when he found me. I've organised a patrol to Valor to cut some dragons down, successfull even if we encountered a few golden ones that gave us some mild opposition, ahem. I took a trainee down to the Orc cave to teach him a thing or two about teamwork, and another to the graveyard.

Ah, and the house.. or the plot of dirt, I guess. I cannot seem to get anything done there, and I've started to consider hiring an architect to get that place sorted. I bought the plot to build a mansion, but after two months there's still owt but a field of dirt.

The acitvity around Stonekeep has increased greatly, and frankly I blame Ian for that, the man deserve a medal for his deeds, if hasn't already recieved one. Anyway, here's a few pictures.

Day 27 - March

Still same old in and around Stonekeep. There are still a fair few juniors around after the mass-recruitment phase we had a week or two back, which is good. I've also seen a few 'old new faces' if you can even say that, a few old bloke's that's actively returned to duty, and what can I say, Stonekeep's become a pretty active place nowadays.

I guess that even though I've admittedly been constantly nostalgic the months that I've been back, I'm getting accustomed to the way things are, and I don't think it's half bad around here theese days. The Besiegers has suffered alittle setback in numbers recently with Sineal away on duties and Killian's recent departure, but I'm confident that we can pick ourself up again like we've done so many a times before.

Apart from that I think it has been pretty much the same around Stonekeep, so there isn't alot to report. I'll include a couple of paintings from recent events.
