Well on my way to visit Yew i found a local farmer who had a problem. After some recent bad weather the rivers nearby his crops had broken their banks and flooded into his fields. The farmer, Who's name i forget, was unable to do anything about this because he had recently been injured by one of his boars. So i set about digging a large ditch, big enough for another flood if it happens.

Seeing that he has 4 fields, i thought that the best way to tackle this would be to have a ditch on the inside of them, that way all the water could run off the fields, and he would also have a supply of water for his crops in the dry season.

Took me around 2 hours to dig this ditch and i think im going to get a trainee soon to clean all my Armour because muddy Armour cant be helpful in battle. The farmer gave me 50 crowns for doing this for him, but i told him to keep it as it is my duty to help the citizens of Yew, not just protect them.
