Veteran Recruiting
After several discussions and debates, it has been decided that the Guardsmen Militia will now permit Veteran Recruiting. There will be a trial period initially where we will evaluate what affect this has had on the guild and listen to feedback of our members.
I will be updating the recruiting page over the next few days, but for now these are some basic guidelines you will need to follow. If you know anyone who might be suitable to join the guild, feel free to invite them to read this page and the Tome.
Criteria to join
1) Your character must be a Human with a natural hair colour and a suitable name. Naturally we do not permit any names stolen from literature or movies, likewise we do not permit 'dewd' names.
2) Your skills must be set to a maximum 100.0. If your skills currently execeed this value then it will be neccessary to lower them. Please note however, during the course of your career as a Guardsman you will have the opportunity to raise them again.
3) The following skills are strictly forbidden to those joining the Guardsmen Militia. Please note this list is by no means exhaustive and you may be requested to drop other unsuitable skills.
* Magery
* Necromancy
* Chivalry
* Spiritspeak
* Bushido
* Poisoning (may retain to use in Waywatchers)
4) Your skills must be viewable on MYUO on the day you attempt to join the Guardsmen Militia.
5) The Recruiter's decision is final.
