[CONCEPT]
Moraine's Palace, the Yew casino, will be a place primarily meant for roleplay.
Although one and all are welcome, please keep in mind you are in a roleplay environment
so leave your pets, neon-wardrobe and l33tsp3@k at home.
Most events and tournaments will be held IC (In Character).
This means that roleplayers present will often not understand you when you start blabbing
about "Orny"s, "Champhunts", "Cinctures" or use smilies in your speech.
The casino was founded to bring the Roleplayer and Non-roleplayer community together
and to introduce people who have not yet experienced roleplay to a new form of
gameplay. If this is not your thing, then no problem at all! Just don't ruin it for the rest
(you will find that banning people from this place happens in a split second, with a single mouseclick).
Those who are interrested, will find theirselves able to interact with a wide variety of roleplay guilds.
Don't worry about your roleplay skill. If you're new,
most people will go easy on you and help you through it with party or guld chat.

[EVENTS]
The main events held at the casino, will consist of betting games and mostly tournaments.
Bring your checks to bet on all sorts of events. This can range from cow-tipping contests
to naked dragon fighting to 1on1 or 2on2 (RP)PvP fights. In this place only exceptional
(but not runic) equipment can be used in PvP. It also means anyone (who is guilded to
one of the competing guilds) can participate and stands a fair chance. Apart from the
betting and tournaments, you can always retreat to the tavern to socialize or just hang
out with friends.

[RULES]
No mounts or fantastic creatures are allowed inside the building,
unless they are there for an event (which is decided by the casino staff). The only pets
present may be small pets like cats, dogs, small birds, etc. Those who bring pets anyway
may soon find those pets being ejected or banned from the building.
Britannian, Plain English or Roleplay speech only, try to fit in with the roleplayers.
This rule is not because we hate c00l d3wds (hell, personally I love l33tsP3@k), but to
not bring down the atmosphere. We are trying to create a medieval fantasy atmosphere,
please do your part by not being disruptive with your speech.
Leave your neon garb at home please.
While we do not require you to be in uniform or dress up in the same style as most
roleplayers, we do not appreciate fully armed neon banksitters either. There will be guards
at the casino so there is no need for weapons. Who knows, the occasional crafter may be
attending as well and they might also be able to make you an outfit that doesn't make
you stand out like a fire elemental on Dagger Island.
Please don't steal the silverware!
Not all items are locked down. Some roleplayers may set up stalls, place recruitment
banners, put their drinks on the table, etc. Do us all a favour and don't act like a raving
lunatic by stealing everything that is not nailed down. The items that are not locked down
are usually only worth a few gold anyway so it's not even worth taking!

BETTING
Our staff will be taking bets when events are taking place. Betting can only be done before
a fight or tournament starts and not when it's already taking place. When handing over
the betted amount to our staff, your name will be written down and you may collect your
winnings when the round is over.
Only 10K bets in checkform may be placed.
There will be a vendor on-site that sells 10k checks for 10.500 gold each.
We will make sure to restock this vendor before the next round of events takes place.
STAFF
If you wish to be a staff member, please send me a private message.
Most current staffmembers are roleplayers. The staff is responsible for anything from
serving drinks to guiding people to their seating. Senior staff members are co-owned to the building (not to worry, nothing of value is stored here) which means they can friend VIPs. More on this below.
ENTRANCE FEE
Everyone is free to enter the casino.
Taking place in events will actually get you gold instead of having to contribute.
The entrance reward for an event is listed in the post below that has the events and schedule.
VIP Arrangement
A VIP arrangement costs 25K and can be aquired from our staffmembers.
The arrangement means you have access to special seating
and thus a better look on events and tournaments taking place.
Additionally there will be staff serving you drinks at no cost.
After the series of events for that day has ended, so does the VIP arrangement.
Special guests and high ranking roleplayers may get their VIP arrangement for free.
LOCATION
The Casino is located south of the Yewan farms and north of the Yewan graveyard.
Head south from Empath Abbey or follow the barrel road north from the graveyard and you can't miss it!
Additionally, during events we may (or may not) have mages provide gates to the event from the Yew moongate.
