Delousing

Whilst standing unfortunately close to a guardsman yesterday I could have sworn I saw something wriggling about in his hair.
After complaints regarding our old louse lotion, we have procured a prototype from a local alchemist.
The lotion has yet to be tested but who better to test it on than our own lice-ridden guardsmen?

The lice lotion can be created using the following guidelines*:


Half a cup of rum
Two spoonfuls of black pearl
One rotten cabbage
Half a cup of rum
One boiled potato, mashed
A sprinkling of nightshade
Half a cup of rum

After gathering all these ingredients, you must boil and mix them until the mixture is thick and purple.
Once it has cooled, test it on 'willing' guardsmen. If they require persuasion, you have my authority to test it on any guard of Veteran or below.

*Failure to adhere to these exact guidelines may produce unexpected results.

Well this was posted that anyone with new wolves had to be deloused. this was a order from the Captain. He said if you play with wolves you get cleaned like the wolves. I was come to report for duty, and seen Gabriel with few new wolfs. I at once called him over, then explained to him that these animals had lice. He argued for few moments. I explained if he did not comply I would call the Lance Corporal. He still argued.
I call for Corporal Ian. He come running, the Corporal order Gabriel to follow orders. Then the Corporal told me to finish up. Well Gabriel moaned, groaned, and Muttered the whole time. I handed him a lotion to rub all over himself. It comtained rotten cabbage, rum, potatos, nightshade, and black pearls. As Gabriel started to apply this lotion, the Corporal and I covered our noses. This lotion smelled bad.
As he was fininshing appling the lotion the Corporal told him there was a place to washup at the workshop. Poor Gabriel was in his kilt only and was worried about others being around. I guess next time he will think before playing with wild animals I thought. As he was finishing washing himself I asked the Corporal about his uniform. The Corporal said to just have him wash it with soap and water. So I did.
I fell to sleepas he was doing this and when I woke up he was playing with a bear. I told him that was dangerous, that bears are known to attack people. He said NO No this ones nice. I let it go, and finish the delousing. All at once the bear turned and started attacking Gabriel. I killed the bear and help tend to Gabriels wounds. After we got him Bandaged and taken care of i asked him what I just said. He hung his head and muttered. I the punished him by making him do 5 laps around Stone Keep. When he was finished with the laps I told him to always listen to higher ranking members of the Militia.
That the next, if there is a nex time that the member may not just run him. They may even give him lashes or worse beat him. Then asked him if he understood, he noded. Well Gabriel is learning the hard way as a trainee and I think he needs to learn more from a mentor. I think he is going to be a marksmen when he get the chance to. Well for Gabriel he if lice free and clean. He had a bad oder after appling that lotion and I do not wish to know if he got it off or not. May luck be with him on learning what to play withand what no to. I also hope fer him sake that my teaching on back talk sank in.
