Casca's Cronies

The Brigand Fort has for many years now been a gathering point for the scum of Sosaria. Many of Casca's elven agents have taken up residence in the area in an effort to organise the bandits into an effective force.

You are to attack The Brigand Fort and return with evidence of slain elves, the most obvious method of achieving this is to hack off their hideous little ears and turn them into an officer.

Rules


You must provide evidence of your efforts.
You may complete this order only once and may only receive a maximum of 52 Silver.
You must attempt this task with a minimum of one other person.
Some copper will be awarded to each participant.


Reward


+2 Silver for every pair of ears.

It was getting late already, and most people were already asleep. Left in Stonekeep was myself and Footman Donnie, both a bit bored and eager to find a way to be of use. As we were discussing possible ideas I recalled having heard of filthy elves having moved in to the Brigand Fort, something which quickly got Donnie's interest too.

So after checking that we had all of our gear, that my blade was sharp and Donnie had a good supply of bolts, we set out from Stonekeep along the western road, down to the Fort.

We had barely just snuck in through the gate before they came to greet us, showing typical elven hospitality.

As alarm spread through out their camp more came to meet us, using all kinds of foul wytchery to try and stop us.

However, thanks to proper Militia training, and a healthy dose of disliking for the little freaks, they were unsuccessful.

We kept at it for a bit, holding our ground in the center of the camp, gathering their ears as trophies. Eventually however we started to tire, and as they did not stop coming we realized that it might be time to retreat...

So we made our way back to Stonekeep again all safe and sound, with all limbs still attached, feeling quite good about our work.

We took the majority of the gold obtained from the hunt and put it in the Treasury, and counted up the ears we had collected. I myself had obtained 27 pairs, and Donnie had gathered 16.

All in all, a big success. Now to just find an officer willing to take the bloody ears from me before I get blood all over my bedroll...

Got a trainee called Gabriel to assist me in killing some of these bastards and cutting the ears off. As we entered we set about making sure none of them managed to hide from their punishment of unlawful behavior (Death). Managed to gather 26 pairs of ears quite easily. Just need to find an officer to hand over this bloody parcel.

Was a quiet afternoon in Stonekeep. Two Trainee's were about, I remembered I had a task I had to complete. I asked them if they would join me, Which they both accepted. We headed off to the Brigand Fort. We then killed alot of them darn elves. We worked as a team and kept everyone up. Marched back to Stonekeep and gathered all our ears and old. Managed to get a whopping thirty-four pairs or ears. Over three-thoussand coins.
