As of today i will be returning to active nightwatch duty, I have been away from the mainstream duties of a yewish guardsmen for some months now, three to be exact, And upon my return i must say i was fairy shocked at the current state of the guardsmen on nightwatch, Amongst other things, i found two drunk & brawling, One prattling on insulting everybody, And one leaning against the wall excercising bone'idleness, I was deepy upset and distressed by this, regardless it didnt take long after some coaxing for the fine Leon, Rookie Marksman, to shuffle them up and lay down abit of disciplin,
After watering down, and having a couple of footman run laps, we got to work building a Blockade, since the nightshade smuggling is rampart recently (I would know) Despite a general unhelpfulness from one footman who refused to help point blank, and with one generally just insulting people, We got on with the Job, Building it up and manning it for a good hour or so, in which only three wayfarers came through, All paid their taxes and were searched, nothing was found that could be used as evidence to put them in the cells, so we left it at that ..

A group of us ready to on a patrol, A then very kindly offering to help me with my final rookie task, which i "did" manage to complete, Unfortunatly, A fine young trainee called Amy was sketchin it all down, An she went to sleep before i could get them from her, No loss though, Ill get them tommoro .. Early this morning a member of the church called put us all to use, an escort to the abbey and a good cleaning of the church steps were in order he seemed to think
