I was mighty shocked seein' this bloody, barely human thing havin' been so treated by the scum of Vesper. Ah kinnae believe they have taken this war to civilians--and women at that. 'Tis ah new low!!

[The Undead]

The body has been identified as that of Eve Nottinbury, wife of Dylan, thanks to a necklace bearing her name. Her death was reported to the guards earlier in the day but the body was stolen from the healers by the Undead a few hours later.

It would appear Vesper are in league with the Undead, given the notice pinned to the remains. Is this linked with the death of Mrs Nottinbury's cousin Jack at the hands of the Undead the night before? That we do not know. But so far targets linked with the election have been targeted. First a candidate, now the wife of a candidate.
