From today the promotion guidelines have been changed. We will no longer be issuing 'quests' at the end of your requirements. Instead your promotion will rely on completing an individual quest relevant to both your character and future plans within the Militia.
Those of you who have already been issued with quests will complete those; all other guardsmen will be moved to the new system.
Whilst we iron out any creases the only Command member allowed to handle promotions will be Captain Bladius Dart, so please forward any questions to him.
All Guardsmen will need to be issued with tasks, but these will only be issued upon request!
Please note: Promotions are at the discretion of Command. The best way to ensure a promotion is to remain active and true to the Militia and its concept. Completion of these requirements and your issued tasks does not under any circumstances guarantee you promotion.
If you feel you are due a promotion please speak to a member of Command.
Trainee > Footman Promotion
* Held the Trainee rank for a minimum of 2 calendar weeks
* Been noticeably active during this time
* Created a Hall of Records page
* My UO skills are set to visible
* Posted their ICQ number in the relevant thread on the Noticeboard.
Footman > Rookie Guard Promotion
* Held the Footman rank for a minimum of 1 calendar month
* Been noticeably active during this time
* Created a character profile within their Hall of Records page
* Had 0 negative feedback during the last 14 days as Footman
* Completed 5 tasks issued to you by a Command member
Rookie Guard > Guard Promotion
* Held the Rookie Guard rank for a minimum of 4 calendar months
* Been noticeably active during this time
* Gathered 250 Copper (not spent)
* Had 0 negative feedback during the last 30 days as Rookie Guard
* Completed 5 tasks issued to you by a Command member
* Have gone recruiting both on your own and on an event you've run at least once.
Guard > Veteran Promotion
* Held the Guard rank for a minimum of 6 calendar months
* Been noticeably active during this time
* Completed a minimum of 3 events involving more than 5 guild members (within last 60 days)
* Gathered 500 Copper (not spent)
* Had 0 negative feedback during the last 30 days as a Guard
* Completed 5 tasks issued to you by a Command member
* Have gone recruiting both on your own and on an event you've run at least three times.
