People of Yew,
As of this evening there now exists a state of official war between Yew and the 'Republic of Vesper'.
Whilst hostilities have been simmering for many months, Vesper openly declared war upon our state this evening with continuous bloody attacks upon Yewish forces culminating in a cowardly assault on an undermanned Stonekeep. This attack was finally repulsed with the combined strength of Yewish reinforcements and the Covian Army.
Citizens if you identify a Vesperian then you should alert the Militia immediately.
Vesper's battle strategies have long involved the targeting of the civilian population and so it is in all our best interests if they are apprehended at the earliest opportunity.
I cannot predict what will occur in the days to come, however Yew can always rely upon her faithful soldiers to defend her until their dying breaths.
