'ere's what happent...leastwise what I can make of it. T'other night, the trainees had built a..well, a really tall roadblock. Was nice an strong, really good, actuerlly. They went off duty, left only me an a rookie markie, we's watching the keep. I ran off ter get some more wood ter make some crates, to increase the fortification...built new crates...laid em down, set em right...all was going well...then I heard it...*handwriting gets a bit more shaky*sommat talked ter me inside....the shelter. Scairt the living day outter me! Markie says, lets burn it. I grabbed my lantern, spilt some oil on et...lit it up...EM CRATES SCREAMED!! I'm tellin yer, nothing like it ever have I heard! Once it burnt, I chopped em crates inter little bitty peices. That deamon, what I can only guess' a deamon, calllin us all kindser names, bandits an such...
