I had awoke late in the day unusual for my self as I usually like the smell of fresh ore in the morning. I decided to make my way down to Stonekeep and see if I could perhaps drum up a copper or two.

My trusty steed Armbro and I had just strolled into the meadow when we noticed several guardsmen building a huge roadblock which damn near stretched the length of the entire keep. Any rate I approached the gentlemen to suggest repairs and Mister Longshot piped up and suggested I gather a few other lads in the meadow and do all their repairs. He mentioned if I had done it for free he would see to it that I was paid well.

After a minute or two of business talk I got down to it. I had just finished up mendin Longshots gear when I notice a marksmen waltz by. We yelled out "Hey ye in need of repairs?" but he was quite set on his own personal smithy, snob! Mister Longshot noticed that his bow was damaged but I don't fancy myself a fletcher.

I found a few more lads in the meadow and repaired there armour as well. One lad had some awful holes all through out his armour but for some odd reason only wanted his gloves and coif repiared, strange boy. I noticed he were also wearing some expesive looking gear as well, I don't know how a trainee could afford such things.

I mentioned to Longshot the few others I had repaired. He nodded slowly almost as if to say with time you'll reap your rewards. Although it's reward enough keepin the Militia stocked for battle.
