Siege Equipment

Although it has been a while since we were forced to employ heavy weaponry in pursuit of breaching a fortified structure, you can never have a big enough arsenal of potential siege methods.

You are to design a new piece of equipment which can be used during a siege. You may use historical examples as inspiration or simply create something from scratch.

Rules


You are to design and build your siege equipment, providing a brief report and screenshot evidence of your attempt
You may attempt this as many times as you wish, however a maximum of 50 Silver may be awarded

Reward


+10 Silver per attempt
Bonus Silver available dependent upon quality of report

I made a siege piece which i named "catapult" within stonekeep. Took me the best part of 45 minutes to create with some hard work involved. I went and picked up a bola to test it out with and it fired it far into the woods and i couldn't find it again so it must be quite powerful.

Well there are many different kinda of catapults made. I desided to do a station ary catapult. This catapult requires three people with the option with two archers. Two men or women to load the disc. the other to release and lock the arm. Then the archers can cover window area. These machine can throw regular disc or fire disc as lomg as it is done fast. These disc are heavy and hughe. Each ones weight is about fifty pounds each.
As it is stationary it is an easy target so to use this machine you want it to have some kind of protection. This is why the archers have a window in it. It has a long arm to reach long distances. has protection for the operatorand anyone in side. it stands about ten feet by ten feet, Small but powerful. It is about eight foot high. The arm is fifteen feet long. It can hold two disc at one time.
Thios machine is a war machine.

Some trainees escourted a merchant into stonekeep, he was yammering that his carts where ruined and that the militia owned him coin.
Somthing about trainees playing siege or some such, reguardless i chucked the fellow a bag of coin i lib...found earlier and ordered the trainee's to gather up broken carts and bring them to stonekeep.

The parts could be useful...

I constructed a ranged battering ram, thats always the problem with siege warfare. Having to lug your battering ram to the gates.. with my invention this is no longer a problem.
