Footman Residency

Guardsmen and citizens have been informed that they must make Militia Command aware of their legal residency. Whether they own and reside within a house, rent from a registered landlord or reside within the Militia Dormitories they must post details of their residency here.

Any personnel failing to register their current residency shall be charged the upper rate of housing tax by default.

Rules


Each registration must detail all current residents of your particular dwelling.
If you rent then merely include in your registration yourself and anybody who resides within the portion of the property for which you pay rent.
If sleeping within the dormitory then simply include yourself.
The location of your dwelling must be accurately detailed either via picture or coordinates.
You may only post evidence of your own residency.

Since I started the career of a Guardsmen Militia Of YewI created this small tower really close to the crafter's building. The people living at the residency are:

- Troy Grindhouse
- Michael Llennoc
- Robyn Claymore

I let these people stay there for free because these are the people I feel most comfortable with in the Militia and have gotten along with the best who have been at the same rank as me. I've made it a building dedicated to the ranks that I've been in for example. The first floor has chests of trainee armour, stocks of bandages, food, shields and weapons. I also have a crate for our residency that if anyone wants repairs they can put them into a crate above the forge and Troy Grindhouse's Son crafter can repair it all. The second floor is dedicated to footmen, so far i've just stacked it full of choices with Footman armour.

The fact I have armour of my own stored in the house does not get abused I make sure that the people living here have the correct ohysical resists in their armour when issuing a set of armour for either Trainee or Footman rank.

Edit: Llane makes a good point, I will remain in the dorms to stay close to our beloved city. My plans to move to Luna are herby cancelled.

I currently stay on the top floor of Donnie's House. The address is 124 Waterside Ave. Donnie and I have been Friends sence we were kids. We went to school in Luna together, and plaied sports together. Being real different from Donnie. Him and I got together well as kids.
He was the richy punk and I was the poor punk. We grew up together and when he desided to join the Militia everyone said it would not belong til Danny does. Well they was right. When I joined the Militia I was staying in a room and board house in New Haven.
Like the nice guy Donnie is he said I could stay with him and Crystal. They are like family and Donnie said he would not have it anyother way. I tried to pay him rent a couple of times. He said Stick it in Bank and let it grow. He cleared out his storage room on his roof, and made me a bedroom.

Well I have to give my residency to the Captain. Well for now I stay in the dorm. I sleep on the top bunk and have little space to move. The bunks are hard and lumpy. They smell like a locker room. I think it is ok fer time being. I will move out to Donnie's house when he gets a room set up fer me. Donnie is chargin me five gold a week or eighteen a month. It is kinda high but it will suit me. At Donnie's the river is right there fer plenty of swimming or fishing. He has all the needs of a house. There is lots of room to roam the woods and find good things.
Donnie was nice to me and said he would get the room set up as soon as he could. I trust him but he is been a busy man lately with him Marksmen task and everything else. I will find him later this week and talk to him about the room. I wil try to keep Dorms clean, but people need to take care of there own messes. I will not pick up anyone nasty boxes or dirty sock. We are all Ladies and Gentlemen and we should be able to care fer own clothing. I feel if they wish to live like this, put them in the cells.
I seen a trainee just drop his unifrom on the floor and not bother ift fer an hour. I told him he was a pig. To cleanhis bunk. He smarted off this is not you house. I told him I am your supior and I gave you and order. He got little mad and the Corporal come in to Stores and he jumped right to work. After he cleaned it up I made him sweep and mop the floors. He moaned and groanedthe whole time. Then when he was finished I made him run ten laps around Keep. Fer arguing with me.

I have a small room that is also open to travellers should they seek a haven. The friars are kind enough to rent out other rooms before mine so that I may have a degree of privacy and in return, when not on duty, I assist the friars with their chores on top of the rent I pay.
