You're a lumberjack and it's okay

This afternoon I set out to build a roadblock but soon discovered that we are (despite being surrounded by millions of acres of woodland) out of wood.

Now I've gotten over the initial shock it's time to replenish our wood supplies.

Trainees you are to chop as much wood as you possibly can.

Rules

You are to chop as much wood as possible by yourself
This wood is to be placed in the Workshop
Screenshot proof must be posted below
You may not earn more than 50 Silver from this task

That was some real chopping there....

Was sat here drawing the sketch with a numb arm. Hopefully a bulging muscular arm tomorrow after this workout.

Anyway, a firm number of logs, well above 1000 I'd say.

Today I was at Stone Keep Standing there Bored. I first went ot Mr. Leo Madsen and asked him if he wished to have him boots polished. He was grumpy and told me NO. Well I stood there a few moments and decided to chopped some wood. I chopped wood several hours. Seen other Guardsmen come and go. I watched Leo Madsen run by. He was running like he has issues in is britches. Like he may have crapped him pant. Well I worked day and night. Went and found a mule horse to carry more logs. This stupid horse needed to be shot. It was a lazy horse, I could have put a pack on the captain and he would have worked harder. Not saying the Captain does not work.
Well as the time went on, I chopped the woods away it seemed. I broke my first axe and had to go by another one. then I was chopping wood and hit a rock on the ground the Axe went dull. Stood there to sharpen the axe. This took few minutes. Where I hit the rock left a big chip in the blade. I got the axe back to the shape where I could use it. From filing on it the axe head it got weak and fell off. I picked it up and hammered it back on and fixed it where the head did not move. I fixed it so good that the first swing broke the head right off the handle. So I had to find a new axe again. Went to Luna to the blacksmith and he was out. Went to New Haven and they was out. So I found a man that look smart and asked him if he knew where I could buy an axe. He said here and gave me an axe.
I finished the work and this axe has lasted the longest. My new axe and I chopped several acres of wood. Collected three thousand and three hundred and thirty nine logs. I cut fifty boards and turned all this in at the workshop. At this time I watched the sun raise and set two times. I rested two times for more than three hours, other times I rested thirty minutes here and thirty minutes there. I sat at the tavern and had breakfast, lunch, and Dinner both days. I had no help and preferred it that way. No one to piss in my cream of oat, and no one I had to kill. So my time alone was good. Not that I do not like others. I like just about everyone. Except Crimials, Liars, and Thiefs. Oh and Mr. or Misses knowit alls that are the same as I am. I finished my work and head fer the dorms. I stopped at the wash hole on way took quick wash and went right to bed.

I hired a pack mule and headed deep into the forests to chop wood for the workshop. It was an opportunity for me to spend time alone in the woods and to continue to build up my strength.

I went and fetched a what I thought, sturdy packhorse. As I chopped I contemplated the meaning of life, where my place in this world truly is, as well as what I was going to eat for dinner. I happen to find wood chopping rather relaxing and therapeutic quite frankly. I chopped roughly 900 logs, but the lame packhorse refused to carry more than 770! I instead had to lead the way, pulling the regins as well as 30 odd logs in my pack. No easy task I say, and my back is rather sore! I can not even imagine what it will feel like come sunrise.

Either way, my lame and pathetic pack horse and I deposited the logs in the storehouse.

Signed,
A very sore,

The Captain said we needed wood in our stock piles. He also said that it is okay to be a lumberjack. I am far from being a lumberjack, but I chopped wood fer the stock pile. I chopped wood fer bout three hours, til I got blisters on my hands. I chopped five hundred and fifty logs of wood. I chopped wood around the Stone Keep where wood should not be growing.
I cleared wood out from behind the tavern, along the side of the workshop, and infront of the Captai's offices. It was a pretty nice day for this. there was no rain, bombings, or trouble. had little chill to the air, but It worked out with the work I was preforming. It was starting to get dark, So I desided to call it a day. I did not see anyone, but for Annwyn this day so it was quite.

*Tristan walks into the library of Britain, a scholar sighs, rolls his eyes and gets up to greet Tristan*

"Good afternoon young Tristan, for what can I help you with this afternoon?"

"I need to have a report wrote up, can you write it for me?"

"Of course, I have a couple of chickens that need sorting, could you do that for me as payment? also as much as I like you doing those sort of jobs, It might be best if you yourself learn to write and read."

"Yeah would be best, do you know a tutor?"

"Of course, for payment however he would expect the cow he has been fattening up to be slaughtered and butchered, what do you say to that?"

"Easy enough to do, sure."

"Then come back here tomorrow morning when your duties allow, and we will get started."

"Aye sir!"

This is a Report on gathering a thousand logs for the Militia of Yew's work shop. Scribed by Quentin of the Britain Library, Illustrated by Tristan Mears, Trainee -

A young lass, named Annabel I believe wanted to know what trainee's do and asked to shadow me and observe my actions, I agreed.
She then took me to the duties board and read out the duty of gatherig wood.
I then took her to the trees around the work shop and started cutting, after much hard work and about halfway through Annabel left me to do something else while I continued to the task at hand. It took me several Trips back and forth to the workshop to gather together the one thousand and one logs, which I stored in the container with wood in it.

I was having so much fun, i gathered a little extra! I was not nearly strong enough to carry all of them by myself, so i had to carry them a few at a time. After quite a few trips, and a couple time to rest, I managed to get all of the logs into the chest. I wasn't quite sure they would fit at first, but was pleased to see that they did.

So I threw myself into the woods and made quick work of an area of trees with few breaks inbetween!

After a couple of hours I felt I had enough so I started moving the logs back towards the workshop. And was there alot of logs to carry!

Feeling rather worked up I decided a bath would be in order.
I made my way there, paid for entrance, got changed and took a dip.
The place was quite crowded and the water a bit to warm for my taste.
I guess I am still to used of the icy water in the crystal lakes back home on Dagger Isle.

I had not been there for long before a patrol of Covesmen arrived outside. All guardsmen was told to get in gear and walk outside. After some idle chatting with the Covesmen hell broke loose with undead causing trouble all the way from the bath to Stonekeep. Eventually the undead were taken care of.
