Ian instructed me in how one move and place barrels, and after a very short while I understood how to do this simple but tedious task.

I did not manage to sketch out every single barrel I replaced. However I can say honestly that there was a whole lot of barrels to fill. All in all I managed somewhere near 40 barrels before duty called. In that time I managed to repair large portions of the road which had been subjected to sabotage.

It also involved a bit of moving already existing barrels to make the road more... pleasing to the eye.

During the reparations I talked briefly with a civilian who was passing though. I did not quite catch their name, but it started with "Ur". "Urcele"... "Ursula"..."Ursele". Not that it was all that suspicious until they disappeared, in a puff of smoke.
