Divisions

The Besiegers are sent to places where heavy enemy opposition is expected. They are armed and armoured to the teeth and are highly proficient in the use of their black, round shields.

Only the most brutish and efficient fighters gain entry to The Besiegers. In battle, they often approach the enemy lines first, and shrug off damage that the lighter armoured guardsmen could not withstand. The Besiegers are fixated with war, conquest and tactics and secretly worship the Archangel of fire; Pyros. A Besieger is a one-man-army; whilst maybe not being able to inflict as much damage as one of the Waywatchers or the Marksmen, he is virtually impossible to kill.

The Marksmen are masters of the bow. Able to pick off enemies from great distances the Marksmen have come to believe that the only honourable kill is one that is achieved from afar.

The Marksmen are typically vain and aloof from the rest of the guardsmen, preferring to spend their time in the company of those of a better social class. The Marksmen have a wide range of interests outside of merely shooting the bow and whilst they are the defenders of Stonekeep, they are also great connoisseurs of wine and luxury goods.

The Waywatchers act as Yew's first line of defence, attempting to prevent attacks and invasions before they take place, as well as gaining intelligence and information in the event that they are unable to prevent them in the early stages. Only the most cunning and agile are admitted into the Waywatchers and applicants must complete rigorous training regimes even to be offered the opportunity to attempt their trials.

The Waywatchers are at one with any terrain but are most comfortable amidst the dense woodland of the Deep Forest. However, not only are the Waywatchers capable of performing reconnaissance but also performing assassinations against specific targets.

The Waywatchers are adept with light weaponry and bows and are especially fond of poisonous blades, which they themselves are responsible for.
