Copper Currency

 

We have a unique way in which we reward our members; in exchange for contributing to the guild through running events, writing reports for our forums and completing tasks you will be awarded copper. The copper can then be used to purchase better equipment, skill scrolls and additional stat points for your character.

Each member of the guild has their own character profile which not only contains information about the character and contact details but a record of all the copper they have earned and what they have spent it on.

We restrict powerscrolls and various weapon types and materials to help maintain the sense of progression. A trainee shouldn’t be all-conquering and able to best a veteran on their first day, they should improve with time and effort. Having the copper system in place helps us to control this and ensure the more effort players put in the better their characters can become.

Copper is also used as an ingame currency, you are paid with copper wages which can be spent on various items such as a drink in the tavern and armour repairs, they can also help you purchase items such as hunting licenses and pay for rented accommodation. If you're really rich you can even buy friends.

It is also possible to purchase social status with copper, as per the use of Grd's Social Class system.
